We we're pretty excited when Catie & Adam hired us for a part day to photograph their wedding in St Thomas! They had so many unique ideas for things they wanted to do for their wedding day. They decided to do a "first look" before their ceremony which is always really nice. Its fun to be a part of such a perfect intimate moment, no crowds of people watching when you see each other for the first time, just the two of you (and your photographer of course!)
For their ceremony location, they chose The Old St Thomas Church, which is an awesome old building! It was built in 1824, making it one of the oldest buildings in St Thomas, and a beautiful spot for a wedding ceremony.
They held their reception at the CASO Railway Station, which is a beautiful spot, not quite as old as the Church though, the Railway Station was built in 1870! lol For the reception Catie & Adam had lots of unique ideas to make their day a little different from the norm... for example, they turned their honeymoon into a game! They chose 6 different places around the world that they thought would be neat to go to for their honeymoon (they waited a few months after to go) and they let their guests pick where they thought they should go! How cool is that! For their dinner, they had an all vegetarian meal... which I have to admit, I was a little worried about, as I am about as far from being a vegetarian as a person can get! lol But I have to admit, the meal was amazing!
It was definitely a memorable day! Here are a few of our favourite images from their wedding day, Enjoy!
